New Summer Selection

For the last few years Michael, Lynn and I have been visiting the annual degree shows of the four Scottish art schools and making a selection of work that caught our eye for display in the Gallery each September.

This year the most impressive show for us was that in Aberdeen and so we have decided to concentrate on a group of recent graduates for Gray's School of Art, primarily painters and printmakers.

We hope you will agree with us that this a group of young artists to keep an eye on over the coming years. For the Applied Arts, after an absence of five years (moving studio and developing new work) Jane Charles is back exhibiting a fantastic new collection of her unique glass forms and bottles. Small but perfectly formed ceramic animal sculptures, from new exhibitor, Michelle Hall will also be on display.
