Postcards 2011

Our annual POSTCARDS show is upon us - has it really been a year since the last one??- and our artists have yet again delivered some lovely paintings for one of our most popular shows on the calendar.
The original idea behind the postcard theme was to present a post-summer show. We provided the artists with board on which to record their summer travels or thoughts. We then mounted them and displayed them unframed to keep costs to the artist to a minimum, passing the savings on to the purchaser who acquired an original work for a fraction of the usual price. Over the years the exhibition has morphed to include small paintings but the premise of providing original art at a fraction of the usual price remains.
