All ChangeJewellery134 - Summer Spectacular - Postcards 3 for 2

Things are changing at the Roger Billcliffe Gallery.

On the ground floor we’ve crated a new space for our jewellery and silverware displays which is called jewellery134. All of our showcases are now together in a single space so that you can see the full range of our stock in one visit – no more trawling the different floors. Its inaugural exhibition is The Summer Design Collection – a wonderful survey of the best of current trends in jewellery and silver. We think you’ll like it.

The First Floor Gallery has been repainted and remodelled and is currently displaying paintings by James Fullarton – a feast in a new, crisp exhibition space. And Sheila McInnes moves to the lobby – a more intimate space for her charming small paintings.

And work will continue during the summer as we create a new viewing room for small focussed exhibitions of paintings. Postcards will move to the second floor and the Gallery will eventually be devoted to works on paper – prints, watercolours, postcards – with an eye towards more historical works where possible.

The Top Floor will re-open with a display of works by Duncan Shanks. Over the last couple of years we have seen a strong demand for Duncan’s work and have decided to group it all together, from small sketches to the 2 metre square landscapes. Another feast.

All of these changes have given us a few challenges and we need to clear the decks to allow the work to continue. So our summer show this year is a Summer Spectacular – a clearance of our stores – works by all of our regular artists – with a few surprises thrown in – and all at a 25% discount on the usual ticket price. We know you’ll like it
